I dont't know the life story of Linda before, in between and today, but for sure I love her voice and her country, rock style. She remains a sweet girl to me even though I read bad comments to her.

OH GOSH....ME, TOO! LOL....What a voice she had back then.
Saw her in "Pirates of Penzances..." (forgive the spelling) and I didn't realize that she cannot project that voice of hers. She was so sweet and beautiful in that Broadway Show but couldn't hear a word she sang...Front Row Orchestra and couldn't hear a peep!
I know most of her songs but sure don't have the "range" or talent to sing them! Hehehehe

Her association with him was less than perfect. He basically did her wrong and it didn't do her career any good either. The reporters were pretty cruel with the whole affair as well. They portrayed her as fat and washed up. It was pretty ugly...Her voice didn't change a bit but she fell out of the public eye after that. Jerry Brown was a former Gov. of California....
