I don't understand what all the negatative responses are for. It's a form of dance and its beautiful! So what if it isn't "traditional" or it's "fusion"? Dance is a way of expressing yourself and stepping into the larger pattern all around you. At least have the courtesy to respect someone else's choices whether or not YOU would choose it personally! I think these ladies are lovely!

I am middle eastern and also a belly dancer and alot of the comments on here are just incorrect...there are many forms of belly dance...even early celtic people had a form that was very similar...it about art and for women reguardless thier race or ethinic backgrounds to express themselves in a world where they are told what is and what is not beautiful by men who need to take a long long look into the mirror before leaving rude comments.

Bellydancing IS Arabic. It's originally called Raqs Sharqi. Everything has an origin and this dance originated in Arabia. What do you think it is? American? Ha! That's only wishful thinking. Whether it's beautiful or not is a matter of opinion. You should get it through thick head that this is a comments section for the video and I can comment that it's crap it whenever I want to - comments doesn't necessarily have to be positive.
