Hahaha, they did, actually. "Dance of the Vampires," starred Michael Crawford. Biggest financial flop in Broadway history. If you don't believe me, check out the English lyrics... I hate to say it, but they're pretty horrible. XD

Check out the English wikipedia page of Dance of the Vampires. There you'll find the titles of all the English songs.
But believe me, the fact that you might understand what they're singing about doesn't weigh up to everything else that ruins the production. Give the German version a chance, especially compared to the English/Broadway one, and you'll see that production is much better. You'll get the hang of what they're singing about soon enough ;-)

Ich lieeebe Tanz der Vampire und ich kann es kaum erwarten bald das erste Mal in dieses Musical in Oberhausen zu gehen!!!
Dank youtube konnte ich die ein oder andere Szene sogar schonmal anschauen!

hab mal ne frage an die die tanz der vampire schon gesehn haben. die leute im publikum,kommen die da auch etwas vampirmäßig gestylt? oder alle ganz normal? werd am 22.11. nach oberhausen fahrn und mir s das erste mal ansehn und fänds coll wenns so wär. könnt mir gern ne nachricht schreiben. danke!

ich war in hamburg bei tanz der vampire, 2 monate oder so, bevor se nach berlin sind *schnueff* xD und da waren bestimmt 15 leute oder so, die mit schwarzen umhaengen, gepuderten gesichtern und so rumgelaufen sind... das waren aber wohl auch so hardcore-fans, die schon x mal da waren und... naja... in HH sind so leute generell ncih so ungewoehnlich xD viel spass in oberhausen ^^

Ach, ich würd es sooo gerne noch einmal sehen.
Tanz der Vampire war mein erstes Musical, da war ich 8 Jahre, habs in Wien gesehen!!!!
Das Musical werde ich nie vergessen,...es war sooo unglaublich toll, war dann mit 8 Jahren ein riesengroßer Tanz der Vampire Fan, ich konnte alle Lieder auswendig und hab damit meine Mitschüler in der Volksschule belästigt;).....is echt einer der coolsten Musicals die ich gesehen habe!!!!!!
